The goal

Smart Working @ Thales NL (SW@T) is essentially a smarter way of working in which, wherever possible, responsibilities and powers will lie with the employees themselves. SW@T is to be fully integrated and implemented across all Thales’ locations. Under the SW@T approach, teams, communication and knowledge sharing are key. It’s also a way of designing the physical and cultural work environment in such a way that it inspires peoples to be creative.

The result

In Huizen, the move to the new work environment has now taken place. At this site, they have opted for a ‘flexready’ concept, which means that, in the event of future growth, flexible working will be introduced. In Hengelo, work on the new work environment and the Shared Facility Center is in full swing. The organisation is devoting a lot of time to helping employees with the transition to the new Smart Way of Working.
