The company connects more than 16 million customers in 14 different countries. Within The Netherlands, Liberty Global is principally known under the brand name UPC. In its vision for the future, the company aspires to create one globally unified organization under the brand Liberty Global.
This unity is not merely limited to the brand name itself, but involves a comprehensive overhaul of the business operations. One that is strongly focused on collaboration, interaction and personal engagement. Liberty Global acknowledges the supporting role of workplace interventions in reshaping the corporate culture, identity and work patterns. The specific ambition for the project is to create a European headquarters at Schiphol-Rijk (NL) that truly serves as a home to all Liberty Global employees. THE PROJECTS AND ROLE OF YNNO
YNNO has become involved at Liberty Global since mid 2010 regarding both the development and implementation of the new workplace concept at Schiphol-Rijk. The involvement is manifested in a variety of ways, ranging from program and project management to work style analysis, concept development and space planning. The employees of Liberty Global are also very much involved with the project at all levels in order to ensure both a successful end product (an optimal working environment for employees) and a smooth transition towards this goal.
Beside the development of a new working environment at Schiphol-Rijk, YNNO is also involved in the program management for various other European Liberty Global projects related to Real Estate & Facilities. These activities enable Liberty Global to make better-informed decisions regarding the course of action for these projects.
THE PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS
The performance improvement for Liberty Global ensues from improved functionality and efficiency of the working environment, an increased level of unity, connectivity and communication between departments, and a strengthened sense of inspiration and engagement among employees.
